After the recent backlash Natalia Germanou received for her extremely altered photo on her latest cover shoot of Hello magazine, Elli Kokkinou spoke out about the unrealistic images women have to compete with.
When she was asked about the topic she said: “We don’t have horns on our foreheads we just have a little bit of cellulite.” The famous ‘Moro Mou Sorry’ singer is confident with her body and she praises her curves without shaming herself or other women for having cellulite.
The Greek artist added that Photoshoped covers is not something just women do. She has seen men that look completely different in real life but no one talks about it.
Elli admits that she is very scared to have any plastic surgery on her face but she is not denying that in the future she might do it. The singer is open about the fact she has tried some Botox injections, but expressed that she felt this procedure wasn’t the best for her image.
Kokkinou wanted a natural result but realised that she looked much older after the procedure since she wasn’t able to move her forehead.
Botox is one of the most famous and inexpensive alterations in the market. The injections are quick and easy that’s why many celebrities are obsessed with it.
Unfortunately the truth is that sometimes these kinds of interventions have an adverse affect, and instead of erasing some small wrinkles end up creating the frozen face effect making it obvious that the person had injections.
